Hearts Ablaze President

Hearts Ablaze this semester has had a lot of stuff happening over the last couple months and things are still driving forward. This semester small group is on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in room F107. We are currently going through the book "Simply Christian" by N.T. Wright as we discuss topics about why do we expect justice? Why do we crave spirituality? Why are we attracted to beauty? Why are relationships often so painful? And how will the world be made right?

On Saturday, Oct. 16, we are going to Box City to help support New Pathways and to raise awareness about homelessness in Minnesota along with other groups on campus.

Also, every other Thursday night at 9 p.m. we go to Hearts Ablaze half off appetizers at Applebee’s for just a fun time of fellowship and a time to meet new people. Our next Applebee’s night is this coming Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. Anyone is welcome; it doesn’t matter if you’re a student on campus, or if your not involved with Hearts Ablaze in any way. On Saturday night, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. we will be going to the Junction Bowl bowling alley in Isanti, Minn. for a fun night, so grab a friend and come along.
