We write about things that affect your life, such as the cost of tuition and where to access financial aid. We tackle the issues facing our campus. We introduce you to staff and faculty members. We feature students. We tell you what events are coming up. We talk about movies, books, and music we love (or hate).

JOIN OUR STAFF
We're always looking for new members to our staff.
JOBS INCLUDE:
• Reporter: Cover events, write news stories and features, snap photographs, and take video.
• Videographer: Take and edit videos of campus events for our web site.
• Photographer: Accompany a reporter to events to snap photos, or cover events on your own.
• Advertising Sales: Sell ads in our print publication.
• Web site designer: Upload items to our web site on a weekly basis.
• Graphic designer: Use InDesign and Photoshop to design our printed edition.

Ink Spot staff go a'touring
On Thursday, May 5, 2011, the Ink Spot staff toured the facility where the Ink Spot is printed: ECM in Princeton. Staff members learned how ECM takes digital files, runs them through the prepress system and then puts them on one of three presses in the building. The week before, staff members talked with Isanti County News Editor Rachel Kytonen about the challenges and joys of her reporting career.
