ATTENTION! Hello to all of our fellow nursing students and fellow ARCC students! The Student Nurses Association and the Student Senate are excited to be hosting a presentation from the Emily Program.
The Emily Program is set up to offer holistic and personalized care for individuals dealing with eating disorders and related issues.
Please join us April 31 in room G202 at 7 p.m. to hear speaker Trish Thacker discuss: recognizing the warning signs and symptoms of eating disorders, healthy and unhealthy coping patterns, how to talk to and support someone who is dealing with eating disorder issues, and where to find help. Millions struggle secretly with food and body image, please come and join us as we shed some light on this topic.
The SNA is also sponsoring the Blood Drive on April 4 from 11 a.m. -5 p.m. in room E241. We encourage you to pre-register on the Red Cross website givebloodgivelife.org or you can come to room E241 that day.
April 8 the SNA will be beginning their "Professional Nursing Lecture Series". We will be hosting a soup & salad luncheon in room E241 from 12-1 p.m. This will be the first of a series of professional nurses sharing their personal stories and answering questions for us!
